Our Tokyo junior program is hosted at Lakeland University Japan, an accredited American university campus located in central Tokyo. The campus provides a safe, modern, and supervised environment perfect for junior learners.

Students stay in comfortable, supervised residence halls with all meals provided daily in the campus cafeteria or during excursions.
Students stay in carefully selected homestays or partner facilities, providing an authentic Japanese living experience within convenient distance of campus.
All meals included with a variety of Japanese and international options to suit different preferences and dietary needs.
Dedicated residential staff ensure safety and support throughout the night in all accommodation facilities.

We make arrival and departure as smooth as possible with private airport transfers and clear instructions for parents and students.

Preferred airport - 30 minutes from campus
Tokyo Narita Airport (NRT)
Also accepted - 90 minutes from campus
Private transfer included from both airports. Staff will meet students at arrivals with clear signage.
Recommended arrival: Program start day between 09:00-16:00
Recommended departure: Program end day after 12:00
Early arrivals or late departures can be arranged with advance notice (additional fee may apply).
Most nationalities can enter Japan visa-free for tourism for up to 90 days. Please check your country's specific requirements.
We provide visa support letters if required. Contact us early if you need assistance with visa applications.
We accept students traveling with airline unaccompanied minor (UM) service. Our staff will coordinate directly with the airline.
Please notify us at booking if your child will be using UM service so we can arrange special airport procedures.
